Shannon is a dedicated practitioner of acupuncture, holding a Master of Science in Acupuncture from Pacific College in New York City. Her journey into acupuncture began during her time as an analyst, where she discovered the profound stress-relieving benefits of this ancient practice. Inspired by the transformation she experienced, Shannon made it her mission to help others find the same relief and balance in their lives.

Specializing in Japanese-style acupuncture, Shannon is particularly skilled in the Kiiko Matsumoto method. Her training encompasses both classical acupuncture techniques and the rich traditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), allowing her to offer a comprehensive and deeply informed approach to healing.

Shannon’s dedication to her craft is further reflected in her extensive hands-on experience. She has apprenticed at NY Harm Reduction in Harlem, home to the first-ever safe injection site in the United States, and provided much-needed stress relief to the organ transplant staff at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Additionally, she spent the majority of her clinical studies under supervision of Vidhaya “V” Rojanavongse, a direct descendent of Kiiko Sensei. She has also had the privilege of shadowing Dr. Wang, a respected professor at Bastyr University, gaining invaluable insights and advanced techniques.

Board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Acupuncture, Shannon upholds the highest standards of professional practice. She is also an active member of the Washington Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Association (WAEMA) and the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her commitment to both her profession and her community.
